My daughter has never played hockey before/is just starting out. Can she join Killer Queens?

Absolutely! While basic skating skills are recommended, players of all skill levels are welcome. If you're not sure whether your daughter is ready, we'd be happy to chat. Reach out to us, and we'll help determine the best fit and share information about upcoming practices.

Can my daughter try a practice before registering?

Yes! We encourage new players to try a Free First Session before registering. It's a fun, no-obligation way for your player to meet our coaches and players, get on the ice, and see if Killer Queens Hockey is the right fit.

Can my daughter participate if she already plays for another team/club?

Yes! Many of our players also play for other full-time teams. KQs provides a fun, low-pressure, all-girls environment where players can develop their skills, build friendships, and enjoy more time on the ice. We offer practices, skill clinics, and exhibition and tournament opportunities throughout the season.

Wow, it feels like there's a ton of equipment involved. Where do I start?

We know it can seem overwhelming at first, but don't worry! Getting your player geared up is easier than it looks, and we're happy to help.
